During the first hour, we discussed various types of taxes along with their benefits and drawbacks, Barack Obama's prime time campaign infomercial, and we covered some of the worst of the political ads currently running in local elections.

During the second and third hour, we spoke with 4 callers and discussed the numerous types of appeals in political ads we see, the viability of third parties, the media's treatment of the candidates, speculated on the outcomes in various battleground states, the military vote, our involvement in Iraq, and the proposed Status of Forces Agreement between the US and Iraq.

During the first hour, we discussed the proposed second economic stimulus package, a number of proposed initiatives and referenda on the ballots across the states, and a court in Kentucky that has allowed for the seizure of internet gambling websites' domain names.

During the second and third hours, we spoke with 5 callers and discussed referenda on the Michigan state ballot, Joe the Plumber, socialism and the idea of governments 'evening the playing field,' the country's economic problems, creation and earning of wealth, government corruption, and the legacy of George W. Bush.

We hosted a special edition of the show. We broadcast the last of the presidential candidates debate. After the debate we had open lines all evening and took a number of calls.

We had 6 people call in and we focused on election talk all evening.

During the first hour, we discussed the vice presidential and second presidential candidates debates. We also discussed the recently passed 'bailout' legislation and the pork attached to it.

During the second hour, we spoke with 2 callers and discussed the similarities between American Republicans and Canadian Conservatives, mediocrity in our elections, a little more on the recent debates, and a lengthy discussion about the definitions of rights, inherent rights, and society.

During the first hour, we discussed the mortgage bailout proposal, last Friday's first presidential candidates debate, and the upcoming vice presidential candidates debate.

During the second hour, we spoke with 6 callers and continued our discussions from the first hour regarding the mortgage bailout plan, how we arrived at our current economic situation, who is to blame for it, and whether or not anyone can resolve it. We also discussed the upcoming vice presidential candidates debate. Our callers from this second hour were so compelling, we extended the call-in section through the third hour.
