During the first hour, we discussed the end of the Democratic primaries, the campaigns for the general election, gas prices, and President Bush's farewell trip to Europe.

During the second hour, we spoke with 5 callers and discussed gas prices and oil industry regulation, the U.S. auto industry, protests and free speech zones, presidential debates, the differences between Republicans and Democrats, and voting for third party candidates. We speculated on what the campaigns will be like from here until the election. We also discussed the Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act currently being debated in the Senate.

During the second hour, we spoke with 4 callers and discussed Bob Barr's run as the Libertarian presidential candidate, possible vice presidential choices for McCain and Obama, the 'buddy factor' in elections, and buzzwords we can expect to hear throughout the campaign.
