The 78th edition of America's Debate Radio with Mike and Jaime.

During the first hour, we discussed the CNN/YouTube debate among the Democratic presidential candidates, the House Judiciary Committee recommending contempt of Congress charges against Harriet Miers and Joshua Bolton, and the recent testimony of Attorney General Alberto Gonazalez before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

During the second hour, we spoke with 5 callers and discussed President Bush's recent signing of an executive order regarding the seizure of property by anyone who is determined to be a threat to Iraq's security, more on Attorney Gonzalez' testimony, Condolezza Rice as a potential vice presidential candidate in 2008, domestic problems within Pakistan, martial law, dealing with difficult customer service issues, and exposing alternative survival methods by the Discovery Channel's Bear Gryllis from Man vs. Wild.

We discussed the recent terrorist plots in the UK, President Bush commuting Scooter Libby's sentence, Senate subpoena disputes with the White House, the Democratic Presidential candidates forum on PBS, legislation to make caller ID spoofing illegal, flooding in Texas and Oklahoma, the Fairness Doctrine, executive privilege, racial diversity, school funding, and illegal immigration. We also had fun sharing facts and figures regarding Independence Day. We spoke to 5 callers. The show lasted about 3 hours.
